Jesse Heninger named Chief Marketing Officer for the AIF

Baltimore, MD - July 29th, 2023 - American Indoor Football (AIF) Commissioner John Morris and Director of Operations Larry Clark are excited to announce the appointment of Jesse Heninger as the Chief Marketing Officer of the AIF. With an impressive track record in the football industry, Heninger brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the league.

Heninger’s previous roles as Director of Marketing, Operations, and Sales for the Richmond Roughriders in 2017 and 2018, as well as the West Virginia Roughriders in 2019, have showcased his ability to drive successful marketing strategies in a competitive sports environment. In 2020, he served as the Director of Marketing and Assistant Director of Corporate Sponsorships for Massachusetts Pirates, further solidifying his reputation as a results-driven marketing professional.

Commissioner John Morris stated, "We are thrilled to have Jesse Heninger join the AIF as our Chief Marketing Officer. His impressive background in marketing and operations within the football industry will undoubtedly bring immense value to our league and its member teams. Jesse's experience and innovative approach will play a key role in elevating the AIF's brand and furthering our growth as we head into the inaugural 2024 season."

Director of Operations Larry Clark echoed Commissioner Morris's sentiments, saying, "Jesse's proven track record in driving successful marketing strategies for football franchises makes him an exceptional choice for this role. We are confident that his leadership will strengthen our marketing efforts and foster positive collaboration among our member teams. With his valuable insights, we aim to enhance the overall fan experience and solidify our position in the market."

Jesse’s contributions extended beyond team-level roles, as he also excelled as the Director of Marketing and President at FrontRow Sports NFLPA/CFLPA Sports Agency in 2021 and 2022. Heninger’s diverse experience in different markets and roles has honed his skills and insights, making him an ideal candidate for the position of Chief Marketing Officer.

Expressing his enthusiasm for his new role, Heninger stated, “It’s a complete and total honor to be approached for such a position. I couldn’t be more thrilled to represent a growing group of franchises through their inaugural 2024 AIF season. I look forward to translating my front office experience in various markets to our member teams, supporting various departments, while providing valuable sales and marketing insight to best and most successfully solidify what the teams and their individual departments are already doing.”

With an educational background comprising an Associate's Degree in Journalism from Santa Fe College and a Bachelor's Degree in Film & Media from the University of Florida, Heninger brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking to his marketing endeavors.
