Jesse Heninger, Chief Marketing Officer for the AIF, emphasized the league's commitment to community engagement, stating, "We believe that professional indoor football can be a unifying force in communities, and Melina's role is pivotal in achieving that. We look forward to working together to support local businesses and create memorable experiences for our fans."

Melina Gosa, who recently joined the AIF, shared her excitement about the opportunity, saying, "When given the opportunity to work with the Corpus Christi Tritons, I knew I wanted to be a part of something that could be game-changing for our Coastal Bend Community and would assist families and friends to come together for budget-friendly fun, excitement, and something that Corpus Christi locals would enjoy together like so many other communities across the U.S. that may never get to go to bigger football arenas."

She continued, "While I am new to AIF, knowing what I know about the years of leadership and indoor football experience our owners and management bring, and seeing the excitement of all team leaders, I look forward to assisting in and building community relationships and working with all teams to ensure that we support businesses in the respective markets and as a league, we support those businesses that give back to their communities."

Melina Gosa concluded her statement with a quote that resonates with her journey: "‘When people told me I wasn’t going to make it, I listened to the one person who told me I was: ME.’ – Shannon Sharpe."

She also expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you Tritons Ownership for trusting and believing in a girl who loves football too, and thank you Commissioner John Morris, Director of Operations Larry Clark, and Chief Marketing Officer Jesse Heninger for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Melina Gosa's appointment marks an exciting step for the AIF as it strives to strengthen its presence in communities and bring the thrill of professional indoor football to fans and families alike.
